Do you accept guest posts? I would love to write couple articles here.
I was wondering what is up with that weird gravatar??? I know 5am is early and I'm not looking my best at that hour, but I hope I don't look like this! I might however make that face if I'm asked to do 100 pushups

God this article was a bashfest. You even took a shot at Uncharted using bad analogies along the way! The plot was MASTERFULLY crafted, and included all of the past MGS games to an equal extent IMO. I can understand you not liking 2 (IMO its the worst in the series, still a 4/5 though for the final quarter of the game). MGS4 is not a SEQUEL to 2; you're confused. It just happens after the events of 2. Plot has more references than connections with 2. Obviously you like a plot that is closer to real life. You seem disgusted, almost frightened at the thought of a game that would use technology to describe what would usually be magic, or supernatural. Or maybe you don't have the patience to be immersed into the world of MGS, which is as deep as star wars IMO. The people, events, and organizations all include things that could actually happen, or exist. Us MGS fans love 3 and 1, and KNOW that they are the most approachable in the series to a non-fan. Consider yourself a non-fan. You just prove our point is all.

I can see where you're coming from when it comes to the Ultra system, but if you're smart enough, you won't get hit by your opponent's Ultra in the first place.

You talk about those who are not qualified to review a fighting game, yet the strength of your opinion does not show any insight that would be any different from those you are criticizing.

Sorry, but I just came across this article and I have to say calling the feeling nostalgia is little bit of an understatement lol. I get this deep feeling of lethargy and I get kinda melancholy whenever I hear a song from Xenogears, or when I come across the CD case in my "shrine of things I love" lol. It's almost painful though. It almost makes me want to replay it, but then not... idk. I just Googled the words "Xenogears Nostalgia" to see what would pop up, to see if anyone was as crazy as I am >_>.

This IPad thing is certainly looking very good... so many specs and so on... however this time I go through this, I quickly do not like it in almost any respect. I am a very pleased owner of an iTouch (2nd Generation) and I think this particular thing has upgraded a great deal in comparison with the earliest generation. And thus it will always be far better, but don't forget that ... Do not ever purchase a product from Apple if it's only 1 year on the market, they are going to bolster it nonetheless they normally change step-by-step to acheive increase revenues utilizing their company products... Exceptionally sensible people :-)

Nice article and sorry for the late post, but I had to comment on your opening about xenophobia in Ohio versus Asia. That's a pretty broad generalization for someone who I don't believe has ever been there. And though you can argue that Ohio (or the entire mid-west really) is more xenophobic compared to Asia, you shouldn't make the comparison for the simple fact of geographic location. How many countries surround Ohio? Or was this your point, because it came off a little immature.

Anyways when I read all these theories on why things fail in the East and succeed in the West, it really boils down to different tastes, but I can't help feel people are reaching for confirmation, or assurance of racism. Xenophobia, as you know (I'm assuming you're college educated), not only means fear of foreigners, but hatred of foreigners. The word is really thrown around too much when it comes to the subject, but is the use without merit?

It's arguable Asian (particularly East Asians) have racism down to a science. Aside from the Apple explosion (which is a global phenomenon), what other foreign electronic products succeeded in Japan? And by foreign I mean to Japan specifically, not just western products. Why mince words, Japan has racism so deeply ingrained in their culture it's taken them the better part of fifty years to apologize for Korean oppression. And anyone who has lived there would know what I'm talking about, simple bring up anything Filipino or Chinese during a dinner conversation. Full disclosure here, I'm an Asian-American who has lived in Beijing and Tokyo, each for a little over a year, and currently reside in Honolulu (Hawaii is a part of the United States for those of you that don't know). Anyways just food for thought.

I completely really like this Ipad. It is one of the top purchases I have ever done. It may be just a little high-priced, but it really is definitely worthy of the amount. It will perform virtually precisely what I need it to perform. I can't wait to discover whatever they have intended for improvements in the future.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
