Good Tips are Hard Not to Share

CropperCapture[1]If JetFable hasn’t dissuaded you from entering the App market, here are some genuinely good tips from Imagini Studios (Maker of Harbor Master) posted in TouchArcade. It makes a good read but to sum it up for you lazy bums:

1) Fast Prototyping

2) Icons (Just look at the LOVE that went into the Icon design)

3) Loads of Testing

4) Create Buzz (Forums, Forums, Forums)

5) Cross-Promote (I think JetFable is too anti-social and grumpy to do this)

6) Social Media (Tweet, Tweet, Tweet, Facebook)

7) Getting Featured (Reviews, beg for Reviews, beg for more Reviews)

8) Constant Updates (If you get through the horrible App Review Process)

9) Last but not least, Move on… which I find to be good advice indeed. Sometimes some games are destined to be great, and some not. You just need to learn your lesson and be better the next time? Um…, this applies to Relationships?

And if you found the advice useful, also take a look at another great marketing article by AppGamer.net, and more geeky articles from JetFable.
