Are you a Gamer?

Looks like I am kick starting this site off with this question. What is a gamer? If you only played WOW, then are you a gamer? What about if you only played Mafia and Bejeweled on Facebook? Flight Control on the iphone? What if you played games but didn’t know the definition of DLC and MMORPG, the difference between Trophies and Achievements? What if you only read about games and hardly play them? Is there a need for this term anymore? At least we don’t need to be 1) Fat, 2) Male, 3) Living under our mom’s basement (recently I read this term – Parasite – jobless individuals who are living off somebody, appropriate really, and could possibly be describing some of you right now). So until the day we have this term abolished, we’ll be here, talking about games, reminiscing about the good old days, trying to find more free time just to hook up the controller, and losing sleep over server maintenance…
